in South Australia specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative spray technologies.

GreenTech is a privately owned manufacturing company. GreenTech’s core business is the manufacturing of chemical application technology and equipment for crop protection and controlling pest and diseases in vineyard, horticultural and agricultural industries.

 

GreenTech has built up strong brand supplying these industry sectors. Its products are designed to the major international standards and are currently sold and used Australia, New Zealand, Chile and USA. When dealing with the GreenTech expect quality, reliability, functionality and long lifetime in service.

 

Even from the early days of design and testing, it became clear that directed air axial-fan technology could provide increased efficiency for grape growers in terms of better spray coverage, faster travel speeds, energy savings, outstanding reliability, and minimal drift potential.

 

The ability to spray large areas of vineyards economically and effectively was just what the Australian market required. Grape growers was seeking for improved efficiency across increased area, options for multi-row application, and technologies to
reduce spray drift were impressed by the results achieved with
the GreenTech SARDI/CSIRO tested fans. 

 

GreenTech have continued to invest in improvements, and have seen the GreenTech application technology become the market leader in the Australian Wine and Horticulture industry. Over the year, GreenTech has developed widest range of sprayers of any utilising SARDI/CSIRO tested fans electrically driven that is simplicity and reliability with outstanding performance in harsh
field conditions.

 

GreenTech has about 8,000 square metres of industrial land and building with modern factory facilities at Wing Street Wingfield South Australia almost between Adelaide and Barossa Valley
the larges grape growing region of Australia.

 

GreenTech manufacturing facilities consist of fabrication tools, overhead crane for assembly work, and inventory warehouse for spare parts and tractors for testing its final products. GreenTech has also office facilities for engineering professionals and administrations support.

 

GreenTech has about 2000 spray machines operating around
the world in Australia, New Zealand, South America and USA.
Many of these machines are over 15 years old and theyare still
in operation.

Founder

Benz Baek, Managing Director

 

Benz was brought up in a farming community in Denmark and formally educated as a mechanical engineer.  Throughout his career has actively been involved in developing and marketing of new technologies for the agricultural sector. 

 

Benz has held professional positions in Australia, Africa, Middle East and China in the development of agricultural engineering. In the 1990 Benz was part of the development of a robotic technology for sheep shearing in Australia. For the Australian wine industry, Benz was one of the initiators and chairman of the Australian Wine Technology Export Group.

 

He has growing the company GreenTech and is recognized as an innovator with solutions and is customer driven with a focus on success in the in Australia and international markets. Benz has been involved in many engineering industries in development for all his working life.
